About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Occupational Therapists to maintain a high standard of patient care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist Occupational Therapists in maintaining a high standard of patient care in Older Adults Frailty Services
  • Undertake delegated clinical programmes of management
  • General administration to support the running of the department
  • Utilisation and stock checking of resources and equipment
  • Other non-clinical tasks as required

Requirements

  • Good communication skills and ability to work flexibly
  • Good written, computer, organisational and time management skills
  • Fitness to assist in manual handling of patients
  • Demonstrate knowledge of occupational therapy and evidence of providing support to people with healthcare difficulties
