Join Our Tax Team as a Mixed Tax Manager/Senior Manager

Clark Wood - Tax Recruitment is working with a reputable and progressive firm of chartered accountants in Altrincham who are looking to appoint a Mixed Tax Manager or Senior Manager to play a key role in their tax team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent advisory services to clients on corporate and personal tax issues.
  • Work closely with Tax Managers across the firm's regional offices to develop the tax offering and engage with new and existing clients.
  • Undertake advisory tax projects, including company valuations, reorganisations, acquisitions, and sales, as well as dealing with HM Revenue and Customs enquiries.
  • Act as a trusted deputy to the Tax partners, overseeing tax managers, seniors, and trainees, including hires.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable Tax Planning and management experience gained within a reputable firm of accountants.
  • Regular liaison with HM Revenue and Customs, clients, and the firm's accounts and audit departments.

As a Mixed Tax Manager/Senior Manager, you will be responsible for a varied portfolio of clients, including Owner Managed Businesses and High Net Worth Individuals. You will play an integral role in the continuing development of the firm's tax offering and will be involved with business development activities.

Undertake work primarily in respect of corporate clients but with some interaction with other taxes (including income tax, CGT, VAT). Oversee some UK and international tax compliance work, primarily in a reviewing and client liaison point of contact.
