Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join our team. As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate clients across various sectors, preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns, and advising clients on tax planning and tax issues associated with business activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate clients across various sectors, including financial services, technology, and healthcare.
  • Prepare and review corporation tax computations and returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Advise clients on tax planning and tax issues associated with business activities, such as mergers and acquisitions, and provide guidance on tax-efficient strategies.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and meetings, ensuring excellent client service and satisfaction.
  • Assist with internal risk management processes, identifying and mitigating potential risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, helping to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring that clients receive expert advice and guidance.
  • Participate in business development initiatives, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to drive growth and revenue.

Requirements

  • A professional accounting or tax qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA) and significant experience within a tax role in a professional services firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax and excellent client liaison and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering client outcomes, with a focus on exceptional service and results.
