Lead a Team of Planners and Shape the Future of West Oxfordshire

We are seeking an experienced Principal Planner to join our Planning Service at West Oxfordshire District Council. As a key member of our team, you will lead a team of planners and be responsible for shaping the future of our district through the development of high-quality planning policies and strategies.

With a strong background in planning and development, you will have a proven track record of delivering complex planning projects and a deep understanding of the planning system. You will be able to motivate and inspire your team to achieve their best, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will have a degree in planning or a related field, and be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). They will also have significant experience in planning and development, including experience of working on complex planning projects and leading teams.

Key Responsibilities:
