Job Title: Retail Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team at Primark Metrocentre. As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a high level of store standards, and working collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a high level of store standards, including visual merchandising, stock levels, and store cleanliness.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets, including promoting products and services to customers.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
  • Receive and process new stock deliveries, checking for damage and ensuring accurate stock levels.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • High level of motivation and enthusiasm, with a strong desire to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
