Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Pastoral Mentorship Coordinator at Arc Oakbridge School. You will play a vital role in supporting pupils with their social and emotional development and mental wellbeing, working closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Support pupils with their social and emotional development, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
  2. Collaborate with staff to develop and implement individual support plans for pupils, reviewing progress regularly and making adjustments as needed.
  3. Liaise with parents and carers to keep them informed about their child's progress and involve them in setting goals and targets.
  4. Promote high standards of behaviour and attendance, consistently implementing the school's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • BAQHDBEAEBE (Degree equivalent) in a relevant field or significant experience in a related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and external agencies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding policies and procedures, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of child protection.
