Medical Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Urgent and Emergency Care Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our emergency medicine services.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in all aspects of Emergency Medicine, with a strong focus on clinical governance, leadership, and teaching. You will be responsible for supporting the development of our junior grade workforce, including special interest posts, CESR completion routes, and academic research.
We offer a competitive salary, up to 32 days' annual leave, and active support for study, quality improvement, and patient safety work. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our medical school and work closely with our university partners.

Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in Emergency Medicine
- Contribute to the development of our emergency medicine services
- Support the development of our junior grade workforce
- Participate in clinical governance, leadership, and teaching
- Contribute to the development of our medical school
- Full GMC Registration
- FRCEM or equivalent
- CCT/CESR Specialist Registration or will obtain within 6 months of interview date
- Minimum of English Level 2 (GCSE grade C or equivalent), ILETS, or graduate of a UK Medical School
- Distinctions, scholarships, prizes
- Other degrees, e.g. BSc, MSc, MD
- Dual accreditation in ITU/PHEM/PEM
- Instructor status in advanced life support course
- Leadership and Teaching Qualification

Working PatternFlexible shift rota between 08:00 - 22:00 weekdays and 8 hours at weekends
Salary£105,504 to £139,882 a year pro rata per annum
