The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a financial services or wealth management company and possess a good understanding of relevant legislation.

About the Role

This Business Operations Coordinator - Financial Services role involves supporting the advisors in providing clients with financial planning advice, ensuring that all internal procedures are followed and TCF principles are applied. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the advisors in providing detailed client recommendations, especially in areas deemed less technical such as client reviews, protection, and cash-based investments.
  • Updating and recording fund and product research for the internal investment committee and preparing quarterly meetings.
  • Supporting the investment committee in agreeing high-level preferred investment options for specific segments of the client base.
Requirements

To be successful in this Paraplanning Support Expert position, candidates must have:

  • Previous experience working in a financial services or wealth management company.
  • A good understanding and knowledge/awareness of other relevant legislation, including FCA money laundering section of the System and Controls Sourcebook (SYSC), Joint Money Laundering Steering Group (JMLSG) Guidance, and other relevant financial crime legislation.

The salary for this role is approximately £25,000-£30,000 per annum based on market standards and location.
