About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves working with a dedicated team of professionals and experts in their field. You will be part of the Specialist Aviation Security team at Heathrow Airport, working for a flag carrier for Israel.

Key Responsibilities

As a Specialist Aviation Security Agent, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Checking documentation and analysing passenger behaviour throughout the customer's journey.
  • Conducting interviews with customers to evaluate and confirm travel information.
  • Carrying out thorough searches of passengers, baggage, vehicles, airport employees and aircraft.
  • Working with regulatory authorities to ensure the utmost safety of everyone.

You will be required to work a shift rota covering 24/7, 365 days a year.

Training and Development

You will attend a mandatory 3.5 week training course in Israel, where you will receive in-depth knowledge and skills to operate as a Specialist Security Agent.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Full 5-year checkable employment and education history.
  • A valid passport permitting entrance to Israel.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to listen and provide clear instructions.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to deal appropriately and effectively with people from all sectors of the community at all levels.
  • Demonstrated high-level integrity when dealing with sensitive situations.
  • The ability to follow instructions, procedures and workflow in a disciplined environment.
  • The ability to work within a team and act on own initiative when required.
  • A positive and flexible attitude to all aspects of work.
