Job Summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a skilled Aircraft Refueller to join our team. As an Aircraft Refueller, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient refueling of passenger aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend and refuel aircraft by vehicle tanker/bowser as directed by the allocators/supervisor and/or daily worksheet.
  • Operate in accordance with airport, health & safety, HM customs, security, and MA ASIG regulations and procedures.
  • Record data manually and/or by computer.
  • Conduct vehicle checks by carrying out designated quality control procedures.
  • Ensure all vehicles are serviced with diesel/gas oil and necessary lubricants.
  • Maintain regular radio/telephone contact for flight information and operate all forms of communications as provided.
  • Report any incidents and provide reports as required.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate high levels of awareness in relation to health, safety, security, and the environment.
  • Valid driving license with LGV C+E.
  • High standard of numeracy and literacy skills required in addition to problem-solving skills.
  • Good team working skills required with a high degree of flexibility.
  • Aircraft re-fueling experience desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Must have a checkable five-year employment or educational history.
