Financial Estimation Expert

Main Responsibilities- Assess contract conditions to provide advice and quantify risks for all parties, offering solutions where necessary.
- Plan tenders effectively to ensure timely and accurate tender documentation and pricing information, resulting in a quality submission.
- Contribute to effective team collaboration, communicating regularly with operations and commercial teams.
- Prepare tenders from architect's drawings, specifications, bill of quantities, and pre-priced schedule of rates supplied by the client, detailing materials necessary for the contract to achieve specification.
- Identify project risks, develop a risk register to assist decision-making and cost management, facilitating contingency amount calculation.
- Support the reactive assessment and selection of products and offerings made by suppliers for incorporation into commercial bid models.
- Manage the tender process to seek and establish project prices from sub-contractors, including terms for works to be carried out under the contract.
- Evaluate, engage, and negotiate price documents, assessing accuracy and confirming best value on price and service quality.
- Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent qualification.
- Flexible approach to working to meet tender deadlines.
- Valid driving licence.
The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
