Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement creative food offerings that meet the needs of our students, using fresh ingredients and cooked-to-order techniques.
  • Support the creation of grab-and-go options for our cafes, ensuring a diverse and appealing menu.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu ideas and stay up-to-date with emerging food trends.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our students.
  • Work collaboratively with the student operations and support team to achieve our goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a university or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent creative skills, with the ability to develop innovative food offerings.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and locations, including weekends and holidays.

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. The successful candidate will be based on our Moulsecoomb or Falmer campus, with flexibility to work on other campuses as required.
