Job Title: Food Service Assistant

Are you looking for a part-time role that fits around your family or other commitments? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Food Service Assistant to join our team at Brighton Met East.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to assist with food service operations in our busy outlet. As a Food Service Assistant, you will be responsible for serving food and beverages to students, maintaining a clean and tidy environment, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve a range of food and beverages to students
  • General cleaning of the kitchen and food prep areas
  • Food preparation, including making sandwiches and deli foods
  • Working as part of a team to ensure smooth operation of the outlet
  • Ensuring front and back of house are kept clean and tidy
  • Washing up duties
  • Assisting with deliveries
  • Stocking up counters and ensuring serveries are clean and presentable
  • Providing excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • Full training will be provided to the right candidate
  • Security clearance check is required for this role
  • Previous catering experience is desirable

  • Part-time hours, 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm
