Fostering Team Social Worker

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Fostering team within the Surrey area. As a dedicated Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with foster carers, children, and families to ensure the best outcomes for those in their care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and support prospective and approved foster carers
- Conduct regular home visits and provide ongoing support to foster families
- Develop and implement care plans for children and young people in foster care
- Conduct Special Guardianship Order (SGO) assessments
- Work closely with other professionals, including health and education services, to ensure holistic support
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
- Experience working with children and young people, alongside a thorough understanding of legislation related to Looked After Children and Care Proceedings
- Strong communication skills and the ability to produce clear, evidence-based assessments
