Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse

Join CES Locums as a Registered Mental Health Nurse and become a vital member of our multi-disciplinary memory assessment service team.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team. As an independent specialist practitioner, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective assessment, planning, consultation, and formulation towards diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a specialist knowledge and understanding of strategies and interventions in the treatment of dementia.
  • Referring to other agencies within the service or referring to other services or agencies where necessary.
  • Confidently identifying risk factors and taking appropriate action.
  • Providing a communication structure between GPs and other services in LCFT, non-statutory services, to ensure the highest possible standards of patient care.
  • Providing mentoring and clinical supervision to other staff and trainees on placement.
  • Actively promoting the Trust values within the MAS service and in accordance with the NMC and HPC code of conduct.
  • Assisting the team manager in ensuring that leadership within the MAS team provides effective assessment, formulation, planning, and monitoring of care given to patients and their carers.
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. You will have a strong understanding of dementia treatment strategies and interventions, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
