Contract Manager

Description: We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager - Quantity Surveying to join our client's team in the civil engineering sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to high-profile infrastructure projects while driving cost efficiency and maintaining exceptional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control.
- Providing detailed valuations, cost estimates, and financial reports.
- Management of procurement processes and establishment of strong relationships with contractors and suppliers.
- Monitoring project progress on-site to ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards.
- Administration of contracts, including handling variations and preparing final accounts.
Candidate Requirements:
- Significant experience as a Contract Manager - Quantity Surveying in civil engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., NEC, JCT).
- Proficiency in cost management tools and software.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field (RICS/ICES accreditation is advantageous).
