Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated individual with excellent customer service skills and problem-solving abilities to manage all aspects of catering operations on a day-to-day basis.
You will be responsible for running numerous outlets situated across the venue, supporting a wide range of hospitality events and conferences.
In return, you will receive training, great opportunities to progress, and work with people who enjoy what they do and offer great service to all customers.
As a Casual Event Catering Manager, you will:
- Forecast and report financial data accurately and meet deadlines.
- Implement and manage health and safety policies, procedures, and arrangements.
- Manage resources effectively and take action in response to changes in the business.
- Train and develop colleagues to deliver business activity.
- Deputise for the Catering Operations Manager in their absence.
- Oversee delivery of standards, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- Handle complaints effectively, investigating and liaising with customers and staff.
- Provide high leadership skills to promote group morale and staff motivation.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in a multi-faceted catering retail environment or a Junior Manager position.
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
- Numeracy and literacy with good verbal and written communication skills.
