Job Overview

Barts Health NHS Trust is a leading healthcare provider in east London, committed to delivering high-quality patient care and innovative services. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist paediatric physiotherapy input, developing pathways in MSK, respiratory, orthopaedic, neurology, and neonates. They will also supervise and lead rotational band 6 paediatric physiotherapists on site and contribute to a cross-site therapy team supporting children and young people across East London.

Key Duties
  • Manage inpatients with respiratory, orthopaedic, trauma, rheumatology, developmental, and neurology conditions requiring physiotherapy aged 0-17 years.
  • Develop and implement pathways for paediatric physiotherapy input in MSK, respiratory, orthopaedic, neurology, and neonates.
  • Supervise and lead rotational band 6 paediatric physiotherapists on site.
  • Contribute to a cross-site therapy team supporting children and young people across East London.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Physiotherapy, HCPC registration, and experience in management/supervision of staff. Leadership training and membership to specialist interest groups are desirable. The successful applicant will also have operational management experience in complex environments and a proven track record of leading and implementing service improvement projects.
