School Catering Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and passionate School Catering Supervisor to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchens and service counters, ensuring that we deliver exceptional food experiences to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the preparation and serving of meals to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Lead and motivate a team of culinary professionals to achieve excellent customer service and food quality.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen and service areas.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement new menu ideas and promotions.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment and facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a school or educational setting.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and food quality.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Basic Food Hygiene certificate and knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
