About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Supervisor - Cook to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchens and service counters, ensuring that we deliver exceptional food experiences to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of culinary professionals to ensure seamless kitchen operations and exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our customers.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in our kitchens and service areas.
  • Collaborate with our culinary and service teams to ensure that we exceed customer expectations.
  • Support and train our teams to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a school or education setting.
  • Proven track record of managing teams and leading kitchen operations.
  • Basic Food Hygiene certificate and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
