Advanced Clinical Practitioner Specialist

At Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, we are seeking an experienced clinician to join our team as an Advanced Clinical Research Practitioner. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to work autonomously in an urgent treatment centre setting.
As an Advanced Clinical Research Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing patient-centred clinical care, encompassing advanced clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis, and treatment within an agreed scope of practice.
The salary for this position is approximately £65,000-£85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, working autonomously to assess, examine, diagnose, and treat patients within the urgent treatment centre.
- Support new ways of working that emphasize efficiency and patient focus, ensuring safe treatment, referral, and discharge of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations.
- Work flexibly to provide care for presenting patients, from initial history taking to evaluation of care.
- Manage a caseload of patients, delivering individualized direct patient care and making decisions within your scope of practice.
- Directly responsible for assessment, examination, investigation, and diagnosis of patients within your area of work.
- Treat patients appropriately, resulting in the safe management and referral or discharge of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations.
- Undertake various clinical skills, provide treatment/advice as per specialty and scope of practice, using agreed protocols of clinical practice and professional guidelines.
