Inspire EHC Ltd is committed to providing inclusive education for young people with Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs (SEMH) and Autism. We are seeking a qualified or aspiring Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) to join our team in Rayleigh, Essex.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing individualised learning plans in collaboration with teachers, families, and external agencies.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Therapeutic Provision to plan for the social, emotional, and mental health needs of each student.
  • Assisting the Headteacher in applications for additional support and specific examination papers.
  • Day-to-day coordination of student provisions through close liaison with staff, families, and external agencies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Special educational needs co-ordinator's (SENCO) national professional qualification.
  • Experience in supporting young people and/or adults with SEMH and/or Autism.
  • Experience in a senior leadership post within education.
