Academic Mentor

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Academic Mentor to join our team at Summer Boarding Courses. As an Academic Mentor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, inclusive lessons in your specific subject area to students passionate about learning.
You will guide students through core topics such as self-leadership, intercultural awareness, and strategic decision-making, using an array of interactive lectures, discussion-led seminars, and hands-on workshops. You will also facilitate two "Time To Shine" projects designed to encourage students to explore further elements of the subject.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Politics, International Relations, or a related subject, and experience working with children in a professional capacity. Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, flexibility, and an empathic manner are essential for this role.
