We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Childcare Apprentice at our Willows Day Nursery. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children.
Key Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with our team to create a safe and supportive learning environment for children.
- Plan and implement activities that promote children's development and learning.
- Interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure all children's individual needs are met.
- Adhere to nursery routines and policies, seeking guidance from leadership as needed.
- Manage time effectively to submit coursework by deadlines.
- Competitive hourly pay rate with opportunities for increases.
- Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and Level 2 Functional Skills qualifications in maths and English.
- Paediatric First Aid qualification and a permanent contract upon successful completion.
- Full-time role with a varied shift pattern, including 'off-the-job' learning time.
- Support from a dedicated childcare trainer/assessor and access to group training sessions.
- Range of benefits, including childcare discount, enhanced DBS check, and annual leave.
- Right to work in the UK and access to a computer for online assessments.
- Comfortable with travelling to group training sessions in Newport Pagnell.
- Ability to evidence maths and English qualifications, if applicable.
