The Role

We're seeking a talented Contracts Manager to join our Eastern region team, based in Bedford. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring service delivery meets financial targets and operates within agreed budgets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing effective client and partner relationships to identify, propose, and secure profitable work.
  • Participating in contract reviews with Senior Management and Directors.
  • Preparing and presenting performance reports to a board-level audience.
  • Ensuring plans and processes are in place to prioritize and delegate workloads.
  • Producing and maintaining contract sectional plans and key work objectives.
  • Developing customer relations to maximize perception of the business and future commercial opportunities.
  • Generating accurate management, financial, and performance information consistent with reporting requirements.
  • Analyzing data for reporting to clients to inform strategic and operational planning.
  • Identifying opportunities to develop and refine management processes, information systems, technology, and processes.
  • Ensuring organizational development, staff, and other improvement plans are developed and deployed to maximize contract performance and financial return.
  • Managing staff performance through performance conversations and setting clear key work objectives.
  • Identifying, enabling, and delivering cultural change and behaviors through flexible working and outcome-focused approaches.
