Maternity Cover Teaching Assistant Position

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HLTA to join our client school in Kettering as maternity cover. The role is full-time and starts in January 2025.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering teaching activities to cover PPA and teacher absence, working closely with teachers to ensure excellent pupil progress.

To be successful in this role, you will need HLTA status or higher teaching qualification, proven experience working across primary age ranges (Nursery – Year 6), strong literacy and numeracy skills, excellent classroom management abilities, and good understanding of the primary curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver teaching activities to pupils
  • Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to ensure excellent pupil progress
