Cover Teacher Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cover Teacher Assistant to join our school in Kettering, United Kingdom. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for supporting students with their learning and ensuring they remain engaged in their work.
This role involves supervising and managing classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-prepared lesson plans, and maintaining discipline in accordance with school policies.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with school policies.
- Support students with their learning when necessary.
- Previous experience in a school environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments.
- Patience and a positive attitude towards supporting students.
- Flexibility to work on short notice when required.
- A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
Estimated salary: £26,000 - £38,000 per year.
