We are seeking a passionate Textiles Teacher who can inspire students and deliver high-quality lessons in Textiles. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Textiles at Key Stage 3 and 4 and be able to promote creativity and skill development in our students.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to students' educational journeys during this maternity cover period. You will have the chance to work with enthusiastic students, providing a comprehensive and engaging curriculum, and supporting their personal development and well-being.
- Deliver engaging and creative textiles lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the textiles curriculum.
- Support students' personal development and well-being.
- Prepare and maintain resources and equipment for lessons.
The estimated salary for this position is £160-£250 per day. To succeed, you will need to possess a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) and have a passion for textiles and a strong knowledge of the subject.
