About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Corby. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the English national curriculum and be able to confidently teach both English Language and English Literature.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to meet the individual needs of each class
  • Assess pupils' learning and progress on a regular basis, providing timely and informative feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the department and communicate effectively
  • Promote pupils' positive health, safety and wellbeing

Requirements:

  • Hold a UK QTS qualification
  • Have relevant experience teaching English in a UK school (secondary mainstream or SEN)
  • Bachelor's Degree in English (Language or Literature) & successfully completed PGCE or Schools Direct
  • Experience planning and marking
  • Strong understanding of the English national curriculum

Estimated Salary: £150 - £250 per day
