Job Description:

This position presents a chance to join a thriving and rapidly growing manufacturing company in Leeds, supporting the finance team as an Assistant Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various financial tasks, including purchase ledgers, supplier payments, payroll reconciliation, and month-end activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reconciliations: Conduct balance sheet and bank reconciliations with precision.
  • Month-End Closing Support: Assist the Management Accountant in completing month-end closing activities.
  • Expense Management: Process and log expenses for PSA purposes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit the annual P11D return, meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Payment Processing: Generate and prioritise payment runs, ensuring timely disbursements.
  • Payroll Administration: Manage weekly and monthly wage payments, maintaining employee records.
  • Coverage and Support: Provide holiday cover for sales ledger and payroll functions, ensuring continuity.
Estimated Salary:

£35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
