Accounting Support Position

A temporary accounting support role has become available for an experienced individual to join our team in Leeds, supporting the Credit Control team.

About the Job

This temporary position involves both office-based and home-based work, reporting to the Credit Control Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client files and collecting International Annual Return fees.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day client file activities
  • Implement a systematic approach to increase collections pressure via email
  • Identify and escalate challenging clients, collaborating with lawyers on a solution
  • Accurately record information about debtors on the firms internal system
Requirements
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively within a team environment
  • Self-driven and able to learn quickly
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly
  • Demonstrate initiative and be proactive, while following established guidelines
Work Schedule and Remuneration

This is a temporary contract, working 37.5 hours per week. The role includes hybrid working, with Monday and Tuesday based in the Leeds office and Wednesday to Friday working from home. The salary for this role is approximately £24,000 per annum, dependent on experience/skills.
