About the Role:


We are currently seeking a Senior Leaving Care Team Lead to join our team at Brook Street UK. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team at our leaving care services within Peterborough and Lincoln.


The successful candidate will have a proven track record of experience in children's services and be able to demonstrate their ability to lead and manage a team effectively. They will also be confident in their ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders and build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities:



  • To lead and manage a team of professionals providing leaving care services to young people in Peterborough and Lincoln
  • To develop and implement effective strategies to improve outcomes for young people and families
  • To build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders
  • To provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality services
  • To identify and address any areas of concern or risk within the team or service

Requirements:



  • A degree in Social Work or a related field
  • At least 2 years' experience working in children's services, preferably in a leadership role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
