About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Team Lead to join our Community Forensic team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the provision of high-quality multi-disciplinary care to adults with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the team in the provision of high-quality multi-disciplinary care, using clinical and operational expertise.
- Share our Trust values and be committed to providing care that is focused on recovery.
- Have substantial post-registration experience of working with individuals with complex mental health needs.
- Have a sound understanding of the principles, ethos, assessments, and interventions associated with a forensic service.
- Have experience of providing effective clinical and managerial supervision and leadership to others.

Person Specification
- Degree or equivalent in health and social care and currently practising as RMN, Social Worker or RNLD.
- Holds professional registration with NMC or SWE with no restrictions on practice.
- Evidence of continued professional development related to professional registration.
- Completed a relevant course on teaching and assessing in clinical practice or equivalent.
Desirable
- Management/Leadership training/qualification.
- Educated to masters level. Willingness to undertake further training relevant to post/clinical area.
Experience
- Significant post-registration experience of working with adults with mental health needs.
- Significant post-registration experience working within forensic settings and/or experience of working with service users involved within criminal justice system.
- Experience working with service users under the Transforming Care Agenda.
- Experience of managing staff and leading a team.
- Practical experience of providing high-quality care; exceeding expectations.
- Sound knowledge of the national policy and agenda for mentally disordered offenders.
- Sound knowledge of clinical/risk assessment and understanding of confidentiality.
- Sound knowledge of community care issues, local health and social structures, functions and boundaries.
- Sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act pertaining to mentally disordered offenders.
- Experience of managing sickness and attendance in staff, appraisals and appointment processes.
Skills
- Highly developed clinical reasoning skills.
- Prioritisation and resource allocation, planning and organisational skills.
- Able to communicate complex and at times highly sensitive information to a variety of stakeholders.
- IT skills - email, word processing, excel, systems use.
- Analyse and interpret data and/or information.
- Budget and HR management.
- Statistics and data management.
- Able to undertake clinical and managerial supervision, appraisals, mentorship, teaching and ensuring all personal development needs are taken into account when planning care delivery.
- Self-motivated with excellent personal management skills.
