Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a digital and data strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Establish and govern an enterprise data governance framework, including strategic priorities for information-based capabilities.
  • Manage change initiatives and direct the work of departmental data stewards to ensure effective data governance.
  • Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer to implement an enterprise-wide data governance framework, focusing on data quality and protection.
  • Define roles and responsibilities for data governance, ensuring clear accountability for the company's information assets.
  • Act as a conduit between business and functional areas, technology, and stakeholders to ensure data-related business requirements are clearly defined and communicated.
  • Develop and maintain an inventory of enterprise data flows, critical data elements, data dictionaries, owners, and responsibilities.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards, consistency standards, and protection standards across the enterprise.
  • Define performance indicators and quality metrics, ensuring compliance with data-related policies, standards, roles, and responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in data governance and quality domains.
  • Knowledge of data management principles, data flow processes, and practices.
  • Understanding of data governance practices, business, and technology issues related to enterprise information assets.
  • Knowledge of data-related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends.
  • Demonstrated consulting skills, change management concepts, and strategies.
  • Knowledge of data governance and quality tools.
