The Electrical Instrumentation and Control Engineer (EIC) role at Chart Industries is a technical support position for electrical and control projects within the screw compressor division.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Designing, selecting, and verifying components for electrical and control systems
  2. Creating hardware and software designs for projects and products
  3. Testing and commissioning systems, including demonstration of control systems to clients
  4. Collaborating with teams to improve manufacturing and supply chain performance

The successful candidate will have a HNC in electrical/control engineering or other relevant engineering discipline, proven experience in a relevant engineering role, and experience of process instrumentation specification and selection. Strong commercial awareness and written and verbal communication skills are also essential.

This is a 15-month contract position working 37 hours per week, based at our office in Renfrew. The salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a generous holiday entitlement package totalling 33 days annual leave.
