Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced EI&C Engineer to provide technical support for projects and products within the division. The successful candidate will design, implement, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide electrical and control technical support for projects and products from top-level design through to detailed design, component selection, and verification
- Offer technical support for the electrical and control department for projects and products
- Plan contract electrical and control design activities to achieve project and department deadlines
- Select and verify major components
- Create and control hardware and software design for projects and products
Requirements:
- HNC in electrical/control engineering or other relevant engineering discipline
- Proven experience in a relevant engineering role
- Experience of Process Instrumentation specification and selection
- Ability to work independently to meet project deadlines
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Experience of Hazardous area working or design
- Allan Bradley and/or Siemens PLC programming experience
