Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Professional to join our team as an Information Officer. This role will play a key part in the implementation of our Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of clinical information from paper-based systems to our new digital platform.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical information systems and will be able to work effectively with clinicians and other stakeholders to ensure that the EPR system meets the needs of our patients and staff.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Allied Health Professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the development of our digital strategy.

Main Responsibilities

The Information Officer will be responsible for:

  • Leading the implementation of the EPR system across our Allied Health Professional services
  • Working closely with clinicians and other stakeholders to ensure that the EPR system meets the needs of our patients and staff
  • Developing and implementing clinical information governance policies and procedures
  • Providing training and support to staff on the use of the EPR system
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure that the EPR system is integrated with other clinical systems
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of clinical information systems and their application in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting, preferably in an Allied Health Professional role
