Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable Freight Delivery Specialist to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for executing daily deliveries to commercial and residential addresses in a safe and efficient manner.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining high standards of customer service, and adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, has excellent communication skills, and is physically fit to handle frequent loading and unloading of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Multi-Drop Deliveries: Execute 65-75 deliveries daily to commercial and residential addresses, maintaining a high standard.
  • Timely Deliveries: Ensure deliveries are made within scheduled time frames to meet customer expectations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service at all delivery points, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily checks to ensure the van is in good working condition and report any mechanical issues.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies, ensuring safe and responsible driving at all times.
  • Load Management: Safely load and unload goods, ensuring packages are handled with care to avoid damage.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork and electronic records for deliveries.
Requirements:
  • A current valid UK Category B driving license.
  • Pay for a government DBS and Cargo Operative training.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience driving a 3.5T van.
  • No more than 6 endorsement points on your driving license.
  • Good physical condition for frequent loading and unloading of goods.
