Cyber Security Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Cyber Security Analyst through our Digital Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship.

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining security systems, analysing vulnerabilities, and monitoring security performance tools.

The role involves working alongside experienced practitioners, combining academic learning with real-world experience, and contributing to the work of our Shared Services Enterprise IT team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining security systems to protect against cyber threats
  • Analysing vulnerabilities in IT systems to identify areas for improvement
  • Monitoring security performance tools to ensure compliance and effectiveness

You will have the opportunity to specialise as a Cyber Security Analyst, developing skills and knowledge in this field.

The Digital Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship is delivered by Cranfield University, combining day release, block sessions on campus, and online delivery.

To be eligible, you must have:

  • 5 GCSE A*-C or 9-4 (or equivalent) Including Maths & English
  • A minimum of 96 UCAS Tariff Points (240-point old system), including Maths AND a Business related subject, or equivalent (excluding UCAS points gained at AS level)
