Accounts and Administration Assistant

We are excited to announce a part-time position for an Accounts Assistant who is eager to contribute their skills and grow with our successful client based in the UK.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounts, and providing exceptional service to our team and clients. They will have the opportunity to work closely with the finance team, helping to keep our processes smooth and efficient.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in an accounting or finance-related role, strong attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is essential, and familiarity with accounting software such as Sage50 is also advantageous.
The package includes a competitive hourly rate of £13.50, flexible working hours, 20 pro-rata days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme, and off-street parking available.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily financial transactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Preparing and processing invoices and payments in a timely manner.
- Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Supporting the preparation of monthly financial reports and budgets.
- Communicating with suppliers and clients regarding account inquiries.
- Assisting in managing accounts payable and receivable functions.
