We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Construction Manager to join our team at Mace. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a critical role in protecting our clients' commercial interests and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the commercial management of projects, ensuring effective commercial processes and procedures are in place.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimize project outcomes and minimize risks.
  • Manage contractual processes, including variations and change events, to ensure alignment with project governance and contractual requirements.
  • Provide commercial support to Project/Package Managers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Produce commercial reports to inform project status and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in commercial management, preferably in a regulated environment.
  • Proven track record of leading commercial teams and managing NEC4 contracts.
  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen, with a strong understanding of contract law and contractual frameworks.
  • Degree in quantity surveying/cost management or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, and sustainability considerations.
