Job Opportunity for a Dedicated Nursery Teacher

We are working with a Well-being Centre in Wembley to find a qualified and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join their team in a Long-term (Supply) Position. As a Nursery Teacher, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals who care and make a significant difference to children's educational success and future attainment.

Nursery Teacher Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons that cater to the needs of students.
  • Maintain a well-organized classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school to provide a supportive learning environment.
  • Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them grow.
  • Comply with the school's policies and implement them reliably.
  • Manage student welfare and behaviour, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment.
  • Engage with parents, carers, and external stakeholders to foster strong partnerships and enhance the school's reputation.

Nursery Teacher Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years curriculum.
  • Recent experience as a Nursery Teacher in a primary or preschool setting.
  • Good level of classroom and behaviour management.
  • Experience working with SEND is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate staff and students towards achieving excellence.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the school community.
