Uhmb are seeking a highly skilled Pediatrician in Child Health to join their team at Furness General Hospital, located in the beautiful town of Barrow-in-Furness.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work as a Consultant Paediatrician, providing expert medical care to children and adolescents in need. As a key member of the hospital's pediatric team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with colleagues from various disciplines to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young patients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatrics, with experience in managing acute and non-acute paediatric problems, including medical, surgical, child protection, resuscitation, and neonatal care. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals alike.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will be expected to contribute to the development of medical education and multi-professional training, as well as participate in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives.
