UHMBT is seeking an exceptional Paediatrician to join their team at Furness General Hospital, located near the breathtaking Lake District. As a Chief Paediatrician in Acute Care, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission.

About the Role

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £87,913 - £116,431 per annum, commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for teaching and mentoring junior staff.

  • Participate in on-call rosters for acute paediatric services, including the Special Care Baby Unit.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
  • Pursue professional development opportunities, such as educational supervision training and clinical supervision skills.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (or equivalent).
  • Completed Specialist Training (or equivalent).
  • Up-to-date knowledge of APLS/NLS and level 3 Child Protection Training.
