Lead Statistical Analyst - HTA

Novartis Farmacéutica is seeking an experienced Lead Statistical Analyst - HTA to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing statistical solutions to Health Technology Assessment (HTA) problems and working closely with International Value & Access and HEOR teams to shape ways of working for Joint Clinical Assessment in Europe.

You will lead the implementation of efficient and innovative statistical methodology in HTA, reimbursement activities, clinical trials, and observational research.

A strong understanding of regulatory authority processes, drug development, and key decision drivers and review processes for international markets is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Health Economics and Outcome Research, Market Access, and other strategic functions to drive quantitative decision making in assigned indications/program.
  • Develop and mentor biostatisticians on statistical methodologies and processes.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, advancements in HTA, and innovative statistical methodology to maintain proficiency in applying new and varied methods.

Your Qualifications:

  • PhD with 8+ years' experience preferred or MS with 12+ years' experience with a degree emphasis in Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent quantitative field.
  • Advanced knowledge of applying statistics, especially indirect treatment comparison methods and innovative approaches in experimental design and causal inference method.
  • Expertise in HTA, reimbursement process, and regulations, including key decision drivers and review processes for international markets.

Estimated Salary: £100,000 - £150,000 per annum.
