Job Title: Scheme Project Manager

Location: Glasgow (with projects across Scotland)

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Contract Scotland is proud to partner with a well-established, multi-disciplined Civil Engineering contractor, specialising in industrial services, civils, and infrastructure projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Scheme Project Manager to oversee and deliver key infrastructure projects, including civil structural renewals across Scotland's rail network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and motivation to site staff across multiple live projects.
  • Manage projects from initial design to final handover, ensuring deadlines and client specifications are met.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Lead design improvements to enhance project outcomes.
  • Prepare progress reports and manage sub-contractors to ensure quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager, Senior Engineer, Sub Agent, or Site Manager.
  • Strong background in civil engineering, with a preference for experience in rail, structural, and heavy civil projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
