About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scheme Project Manager to join our team at Contract Scotland. As a key member of our civil engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering key infrastructure projects across Scotland's rail network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to site staff across multiple live projects.
  • Manage projects from initial design to final handover, ensuring deadlines and client specifications are met.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  • Lead design improvements to enhance project outcomes and drive value engineering.
  • Prepare progress reports and manage sub-contractors to ensure quality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager, Senior Engineer, Sub Agent, or Site Manager.
  • Strong background in civil engineering, with a preference for experience in rail, structural, and heavy civil projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
