Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular health and safety audits, risk assessments, and workplace inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide expert advice on legislative updates and ensure that the organization's policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant.
  • Promote a positive health, safety, and environmental culture within the company and ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on quality, environment, health, and safety to ensure that all employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications or a commitment to gaining them.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a history of self and team development.
  • Knowledge and understanding of business management systems and practical ISO audit protocol awareness.
  • Internal audit experience and knowledge of compliance and non-conformance processes.
  • Construction and rail industry knowledge, including Network Rail industry portal awareness.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work at all levels of the business.
  • Practical computing skills, including reports, technical briefing, and spreadsheets.
  • Experience of working within a multi-discipline team and leadership skills, where appropriate.
