About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Specialist to support Key Stage 2 pupils in Enfield. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's behaviour and learning.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in schools, preferably within Key Stage 2. A strong background in supporting students with behavioural challenges is essential. Skills in managing and de-escalating challenging situations effectively are also required.
A proactive, patient, and resilient approach to working in a school environment is crucial. The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents is vital for success in this role.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing tailored support to pupils with behavioural needs, ensuring they feel understood and valued.
- Implementing behaviour management strategies to maintain a calm and productive learning environment.
- Working one-to-one or in small groups to support learning and emotional well-being.
- Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to create Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs).
- Encouraging students to develop social skills, self-confidence, and positive attitudes towards learning.
- Monitoring and reporting on progress, identifying areas for further support.
