Safeguarding and Assessment Team Lead

Leaders in Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Safeguarding Manager to join our team. As a key member of the assessment and safeguarding team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely support of every child, focusing on continuous improvement and effective social work practices.

The role sits within our dedicated assessment and safeguarding team, where referrals from section 47 are handled through to permanence. Although experience as a manager is beneficial, we also consider advanced practitioners with leadership potential.

This statutory role requires a social work qualification and registration with Social Work England. We offer a competitive salary range of £49,498-£51,515, plus a welcome payment of £4,000, an annual retention payment of £2,000, and a relocation package of up to £8,000.

In addition to these benefits, we provide flexible working options, generous annual leave starting at 25.5 days and increasing to 30.5 days after five years, and the ability to purchase 10 additional days per year.
